LATOYA ETHERIDGE, MD WILL BE STARTING TO SEE PATIENTS JANUARY 2, 2024!

We are excited to welcome our newest provider to join North Georgia Internal Medicine, Latoya Etheridge, MD.  Dr. Etheridge received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, attended medical school at the Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, and completed her residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Etheridge began practicing in 2011 with a focus on family medicine and women’s health. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians, of which she is a member. On a personal note, Dr. Etheridge enjoys listening to live music, watching documentaries, cheering on the Boston Celtics, and going on road trips with her husband and three children.

Together, our team will offer 5 days a week of in-office availability – including same day availability, 24/7 coverage and more flexibility with scheduling. 

RUBY APPIAH, MD WILL BE STARTING TO SEE PATIENTS AUGUST 16TH!

We are excited to welcome our newest provider to join North Georgia Internal Medicine, Ruby Appiah, MD.  Dr. Appiah is board-certified in Internal Medicine and completed her residency in New York at SUNY Upstate Medical University, New York in 2016 including a year as Chief Resident. She comes to NGIM after practicing over 7 years of internal medicine in the surrounding Atlanta areas.  Dr. Appiah is an advocate for providing patients with healthcare services that exceed the standard of care.  She is well-versed in managing complex diseases, offering lifestyle adjustments and coaching.  Dr. Appiah enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, as well as her involvement with Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta.

 

LAURA BAYANI, PC-C IS TAKING ON A LEAD RESEARCH ROLE

We are excited to welcome Laura into our research family as we focus on making an impact not only for the quality of life of our North Georgia Internal Medicine patients but for patients all over the world.  Effective August 16th, 2023, Laura will start her lead research role, working side by side with Dr. Wieskopf at our Research Facility. We are excited about the opportunity Laura will have to continue with our work family and excited to have her part of Clinical Research!

If you are currently scheduled to see Laura on or after August 16th, 2023; you will be automatically switched to Dr. Appiah for the same date and time of your current appointment.  If you have a conflict with your current appointment time, please notify our office immediately to reschedule.  Together, our team will offer 5 days a week of in-office availability – including same day availability, 24/7 coverage and more flexibility with scheduling.
